(1)Temperance: Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation.
一、节制：食不过饱，饮不过量。
（吃是第一位的，饮食决定了一个人的健康水平，有了健康才能谈其他）

(2)Silence: Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself; avoid trifling conversation.
二、缄默：言则于人于己有益，不作鸡毛蒜皮的闲扯。
（不要因为自己想说而说，你说了什么不是关键，对方接收到的（对方受益的）才是关键。知彼为先，注重倾听而不是发言。时间对每个人都是宝贵的，把时间让路给“大石头”而不是“沙子”。）
